Unlock the BSNL 3G data card (LW272) in 6 steps and enjoy it with other SIM cards

Step 1: Connect BSNL 3G data card to computer & wait until BSNL3g.exe executes automatically.

Step 2: Go to Settings and create a new Connection
e.g Profile name: airtel
Number: *99#
Username: (left it blank)
Password: (left it blank)
APN: airtelgprs.com
Then save the settings and set it to Default connection.

Step 3: Remove the device and go to Run->regedit

Step 4: Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Wow64Node->Linktop3G (for 64-bit)
OR Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Linktop3G (for 32-bit)


Step 5: Change the "Engineer" value 1 to 0

Step 6: Now insert your other SIM card (e.g. Airtel card) and enjoy the internet. Thank You!


NOTE: You need to start 3G on your SIM card first.
(If you want a good speed otherwise you can go with GPRS also).
May the Number:*99# is applicable for only selected SIM cards.
APN name is different for different providers.
